For the completists out there. I just added the ability for registered users to add a set list. It will go to a pile for approving before it goes live.

Coming up shortly, another feature to allow you to create a list of all the shows you have been to.

http://www.thehip.com/touring-SetLists.html
very cool Mav, I can already see hipbaser's using this feature extensively.
Great features. I have been neglecting the site over the last year or so. With life, work and geocaching getting in the way glad someone else can take the lead. I might just turn the hipbase into a forum only site.

This feature is now up. Once logged in, browse the setlist of a show you were at and click on the "I was there" button. A chronological list of your shows will appear in the side bar. . . a couple of more things coming as well.
Hmmm I was already logged in to thehip.com and I already see a list of My Shows but I didn't do anything. And when I clicked I was there for Kingston it added a second entry for the Kington show. Also although the list looks similar to my list its probably MAVs list of shows he was at. Anyone seeing some similar?

Yes, that is fixed now. It should give you a list of your shows and the songs you've seen, as well as the number of times per song.

Here's my current list, though I know I am missing some shows:

Mav I can't believe that your live innitiation to The Hip was on the same date as mine, I feel somewhat more experienced (?) than I did before.
I added the wrong date, how do I remove a show?

That's my next feature. An hour or so. I also have to add a few preferences . . .um, I just crashed the server doing an update. Oops. It should be back up shortly. Arg.

Sorry fot that little intrusion for anybody that was trying to use the site. I corrupted a file and it took a while to figure out.

Now that that is fixed, you also now have the ability to remove shows - Lance - Find this under your account preferences. (Click on your user name at the top of the page)

You can also remove thislisting from your page, or limit the number of results to be displayed, for some people who have been to a lot of shows. As well, there is a page that shows your full concert and show experience.

Please let me know your comments, feedback and any possible feature requests.

Well, I have to admit, I have been to a few more shows than this, but they aren't in the databaseSad

I think my first was in about 1988 in Victoria.

Cool, thanks MAv :thumb:

While we're on the subject is it just me or are the hipbase personal concert stats not working for anyone else?
holy shit you were born b4 then?lol
