I work for an office supply company and I just got an email on some new pricing on USB thumb drives - and look at these cheap ass prices - I am always blown away with how cheap things are getting:
USB Flash Drive, 1GB $5.86
USB Flash Drive, 2GB $8.85
USB Flash Drive, 4GB $16.82
USB Flash Drive, 8GB $30.81
I still remember paying $300 in 1995 to upgrade my 486DX computer from 4MB of Ram up to 8MB of ram............
I remember writing essays on the Osborne 1:

Two thousand bucks got you 64 k of RAM and twin double-density disk drives with a whopping 185 k of storage each.
And look at the Commodore add: $109.95 for a phone modem.
P.S. I loved my Commodore 64.
