Well, has anybody played it yet?
Still on the fence as to whether or not I should pick it up.
Some early reviews?
I do not believe that it is to be released for another ten minutes. probably not too many reviews for a while. I've read that it's supposed to be even more violent and infused with virtual sex than the previous games.
I've had it for a few days now, and I'm not sure it's worth the hype, although I've only put in a few hours to spend with it. Very much like GTA3 but with way more bells and whistles, cars are more realistic, crashes are cool, sometimes sending you through the windshield if you're going fast enough. I also haven't played multiplayer yet, but in a city that big, it will probably be really cool....
I know it's getting super reviews all over the place, and probably worth it if you like that sort of game, just get it before you have kids so you can actually play it!!

She'll soon be off on maternity leave, and when babies are sleeping it can get quite boring. And thats all babies do is sleep...besides poop and eat.
I'm sure she wouldnt actually be bored, but you could convince her she otherwise.

It seems to be a great game, just not sur ehow big a step up from GTA3 it is....and the little details are great, for instance I picked up a Rasta guy and had to drive him somewhere, and the whole time we're driving, he's talking to me, and these big puffs of smoke are coming out the windows as we're driving....too funny!

well, ign.com gave it 10/10. the last time they gave a game 10/10 was in 1999

this game is definitely game of the year
I just picked up OXM, and they have a pretty extensive 12 page review on it, and their review for it was 9.5/10.
I have been playing it now for the past two days, and even though it has a pretty low start, it does pick up. Haven't tried the multiplayer yet, but I'm sure it is going to be something else. And yeah, the graphics is something else, and something that is pretty decent too is the A.I. of all the characters!
