Do they show every song from the actual show occording to the setlist for that night? or is it shuffled up. Funk i wish i could see this gig
did anyone that was at the actual show notice any cameras set up,how many different angles do they have?
Great show to watch! I attended this one but was way in the back in the outfield seats where the sound was marginal. I couldn't understand most of the rants at the time and I didn't have a good view, even with my mini-binoculars. I don't like watching live shows on the big screen, so the footage is new to me. CanuckCourage great pickup of Gord using the line from Ballroom in his NOIS rant. I missed the Joe line and will listen again. Gord does have a history of trying out new material during live shows.
As Hairbird mentioned, Gord played on his solo tour in Montreal that afternoon and thus the reference at the beginning. Gord gave a great performance as did all the guys. I must say the camera work was pretty good considering the cameramen were non-Hip fans who keyed in on Gord alot, missing good solos by Robbie and Paul. I love the way Gord S. jams to the beat. It makes me laugh and feel good, reminding me of how I dance at the shows. Johnny Fay can be seen behind Gord making his drum kit shake on numerous occasions.
They showed numerous different and unusual camera shots. The best one was from overhead behind Johnny looking down on his drums at the back of the rest of the guys and out over the crowd. One could imagine being on stage. The crowd was very lively, so I must retract my statement of an earlier thread where I said Toronto fans were subdued at Hip shows. Again, I was at the back and buzzed and missed it.
Thanks to Lance :thumb: for seeding the show to www.etree.org . If someone can't find out how to record this footage, this audio is good. I downloaded it and was listening to it last week.
so when you watch this show on your windows media thingy can you record the songs/burn this to disk?or do you need that etree.org to do it? I still haven't seen it,I feel so out of the loop

Summiteer, etree will not enable you to watch the show. I think you need a Windows based OS to get it. Etree has the audio only in FLAC form. There is information and programs to d/l on that site that convert the music to WAV form (burning CDs) from FLAC and SHN.
This is so great!!! I wish I could have been there now! :thumb:
Has anyone really listened to the rant in grace? Gord goes on about from what I can make out kindof going crazy thinking about someone.
Lot's of other little rants here and there to...such as " I think about you all the time".
I could only watch it to about 45min and then it basically shut down. Did anyone else have this problem?

cratch: :rambo:
i did but then the next day i watched again it worked fine for the whole concert
Ron
just finished watching the concert, the audio was great. the rants were super clear, but they weren't that clear when i was at the concert and we were only sitting around 20 rows back on the floor. the video seemed a bit dark but still very watchable.
the songs are in order, and there were lots of cameras at the show, to supply video for the large screens.....
This is incredible! I'm only halfway through "Grace Too" but already I'm blown away. The sound is even better than the Camp Trillium Benefit!! Does anyone know what the date & place ofthis show are?
june 21, 2003 skydome toronto first sars concert

Thanks...I hadn't been keeping up with this thread while waiting for the cocnert to get set up, I figured it must have been mentioned at some point.
Wow..at the 30 minute mark, in the intro to Poets, comes one of Gord's best rants ever! I LOVE this concert!
