Kovalev is unbelievable right now..I thought for sure he'd get a hat trick tonight, what a great game. This team (Habs) really want to be the ones to come out of the East.

it's nice to know they'll probably end up playing the Flyers or Bruins in the first round...two teams they've completely owned this year.

Toronto twice, Montreal twice, Boston twice and Ottawa twice...going to be a tough last 8 games but I believe how they handle the Bruins will tell the story of whether Buffalo gets into the playoffs or not.
Hell, if the Habs can beat the Bruins anyone can :lol:

Kovalev scored a couple beauties last night, he's really elevated his game this season. Kovalev is having one of the best seasons of his career, and i can honestly say this is the most dedicated i've ever seen him over the course of an entire season.
Montreal/Boston could very well be a 1st round matchup...hopefully for the Habs sake the regular season dominance of the Bruins carriers over to the playoffs if it happens - unlike the Senators/Maple Leafs!
You know it's weird, because Montreal is first in the East, and still not a lot of people are giving them much respect. I hear more about the Maple Leafs on TSN and Sportsnet than I do about the 1st place Habs.

I really don't relish the fact that the Pens may face Ottawa in the 1st round.
The Habs are in a good spot with the matchup in the playoffs if the standings remain set. I hate NJ and I hate Philly. I will cheer any team that plays against either one of them. As for Boston, they are their own worst enemy right now.

Yeah, it's really "weird". You'd almost think they were in the business of selling advertising.
advertising or not..it's bullshit that a national sports network cares more about what a Leaf had for lunch, than any other team winning.

Ya, because there are not enough Montreal fans across Canada....
or Calgary, Vancouver or Ottawa fans for that matter. All teams in the playoffs right now...and Edmonton is somehow in the race. But other than those 5 other Canadian teams, I'm sure
everybody just loves the Leafs. :roll:
