A nice "Mid-Major" to start things off this year. Very different songs, and it is hard for me to pick one, but I'm going with 50 MC.

This was tough for me, I love the lyrics on Its A Good Life, but on the whole 50 MC for me.

But it was my vote. Lyrics are very compelling. And that melody.
I've always had a soft spot for Good Life. I'm really happy this is starting up again.
I may be kind of biased because I absolutely love IVL, but on top of that I think that good life is just a better overall song lyrically and musically. The finger patterns in it are amazing, I still can't pick up on all the little intricities when playing it.

Or is it kind of a wait and see thing?
Also, is there any changes to the structure of the tournament? Is last year's champ being challenged by this year's winner? etc.
Last year, I might have voted for IAGLIYDW, but since, 50 has really grown on me. Just a sweet song to rock out to.
Both have great lyrics, I love the story and the tribute to Bill Barilko. 50 definitely rocks harder, but good life has this incredible ability to make me lose myself in the music. On this night I'm gonna have to go with good life.
