Do you think The Hip will tour Eastern Canada this year? Maybe after Europe?
It would be really sad if they skipped Eastern Canada

I was listening to the interview tonight on edge 102 with the hip and Paul and Johhny were on and they were asked about the intimate tour stretching canada wide, and there answer basically confirmed it was.

The Hip said originally that dates will be announced this month for the Eastern Canadian leg of the theater tour.

Actually... I was lucky enough to meet Gord Sinclair after one of the Boston shows this past weekend... I asked him if he could give me a hint as to what venue they'd be playing in Toronto on this tour... He said that he didn't know - that was still being worked out... so it wouldn't surprise me to hear that there's some scheduling difficulties going on...

There's an obvious 2 week (or more) gap between the tour of western Canada, and the band's tour down south, so I would expect dates to be coming...

Of course... Gord could've been lying...
