Yay, the Odds are back!

I remember seeing them open for the Hip at my first show back in 95/Hamilton. Good band, truth untold and someone who's cool great stuff.

Now if I Mother Earth, The Tea Party and The Watchmen would just follow suit.. (yes ill never let this dream go)



In more even kick ass news Matthew Good is touring again, but with a full rock band this time, wooohoo!

The New Odds played Kamloops last year....i was pretty loaded, but I think they sounded great

The Odds do indeed kick ass...IME are better without Edwin though lol, he played at the townehouse to like 20 people this month, and got no love haha.

i don't care about seeing Matt Good anymore *shrug*, I mostly only like MGB, some of thh solo stuff is good, but i can't get into it like i got into MGB.

No love for Calgary either. There's a 5 day gap in between the Deadmonton and Vancouver shows, and they couldn't squeeze Cowtown into the schedule? Ridiculous. I'd love to see the Odds again.

I'd love for Moist to get back together too, only seen them live the once & it was great. In a way i'd like for Big Sugar to get back together, but I like Gordie's new band Grady too!

As for IME, "scenery & fish" is one of my all-time favorites albums...i'd take Edwin over Bryan any day.

i prefer both Blue Green Orange, and Quicksilver Meatdream to Scenery & Fish, and Dig.

OK... seriously, everyone... in all honesty. Why won't most bands come to the Maritimes? We have a few venues here in Halifax, alone, that compare or are more spacious than those listed above. Is there anyone on the 'Base with close ties to the industry that can give me a solid reason? Is it economics? Population? What??? Whenever a band or artist comes to the East Coast, it's fricken front page news because it never happens.

What are the Maritime dates Sean? Not sure if your a fan or not, but George Thorogood & the Destroyers are coming this way. Have always wanted to see them & missed out last time.

I don't think Matt Good is an artist i'd travel to Moncton to see though, was hoping for a Charlottetown date.

i would travel for Matthew Good Band, not for him solo.
