Can't wait to hear it, I've heard a few of the songs performed live last year and they all sounded great.

i'm already sick of hearing their song on Sportsnet...they're ok, but this band doesn't do it for me, not a fan...at all.

There's so much better music coming out of Atlantic Canada... and yet every time I turn on the radio I have to hear that "Poor Ol' Broken Hearted Me" song.
I find it frustrating.
I saw them the other weekend because they were opening for Plaskett. Re-interated why I don't like the band.
Thats just me though.

I loved their first album, but their second album (or current single) don't really do it for me. Still looking foward to hearing the new album though.
Seen them live twice, once at the Festival of Lights in 2004, and then opening for Guns N' Roses in 2006, loved them both times!

Yeah, but you like Grand Theft Bus. :? I remember seeing them several times at Myrons and being bored to death.
The Trews? I don't really like them that much but I don't hate them, either. I went to a few of their shows and they are good live but they annoyed me when they played "Whole Lotta Love" EVERY SHOW! And, of course, watching their drummer do a five minute drum solo every show is about as entertaining as changing the oil in my truck.

I really like The Trews! "no time for later" is definitely their best album.
they sound great here: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://music.sympatico.msn.ca/concerts/orange/Articles/TheTrews">http://music.sympatico.msn.ca/concerts/ ... s/TheTrews</a><!-- m -->

I don't like the Trews either.

To me, The Trews bring to the Canadian music scene what Collective Soul brought to popular music scene in the '90s. There is a ton of energy in their music, it's all well written, but it does lack creativity. Either way, their new song is catchy as hell, as were their last six singles, so I figure it is probably time I pick up a Trews album.
