I've been following this rumor for a while now...great news, i'll definitely be there!
PEI was in the running for The Eagles as well, but I'd glad to see Moncton get it. I've only been to the one concert @ Magnetic Hill (The Rolling Stones '05), & i loved the site. I'm already looking forward to this...now to see what kind of opening acts we get

I've always wanted to see Bryan Adams play a festival type show (been to 4 arena shows, all were awesome)...and he has a new album coming out in March, so you never know.
And a much smaller scale than The Eagles...but i just found out Buck 65 is playing the MacKenzie Theatre here in Charlottetown in April! I've never seen him live before, so i think i'll check that one out as well.
He's playing 30 seconds from my room with Symphony Nova Scotia in April.
Should be nice and epic.

The announcement is coming Monday at 1:30, it's being dubbed "2008 Magnetic Hill Music Festival".
Apparently there are supposed to be 5 other acts, 3 of which normally "could play two shows at the Coliseum". I've heard names such as Bryan Adams and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers mentioned. Really looking forward to the announcement!!!

I'm proud to say that the last time he played in Sudbury, somebody threw a beer at him, and now he's never coming back! AMEN! I wish we could trade him to the U.S. for a sack of pucks...him, and Celine, and Avril, and Ben Mulrooney (shudders)...we can do without!

I think this will be the only time that I agree with TDC, with the caveat that if we accept the trade, Bryan has to be confined to Las Vegas and is restricted to playing the singing tiger in Sigfried and Roy's act....
