I heard Sleeping Sickness on Galaxy yesterday. When I heard Gords voice I just knew. Very cool.
So does this mean that every time Dallas Green performs live Downie needs to show up? Or will Dallas Green just sing Downie's part from here on out?
The one time I saw Dallas play this song[this past summer in Halifax at Summersonic], it was sung by a temporary guitarist and close friend that plays with him from time to time in shows, and apparently records with him.
Unfortunately I do not remember his name...

Was it the guy from Attack in Black? Daniel Romano? When I saw City and Colour (at Roger's Picnic - Fort York this summer), Dallas sang the entire song. It's just not the same when Dallas does Gord's part.

F***. Truthfully truthfully, I cannot remember. I kind of want to say 'yes' but I cannot guarantee. That name rings a bell. He also had drummer and another guitarist/bassist named Harris [only remember because he signed my set list]. I do want to say you are right, because Attack and Black and that name ring a big bell from that concert.

...lets just say yes for now until proven otherwise :thumb:
Is this him? I'm just curious cause I think it woulda been cool to hear him sing Gord's part.

Nope. I will check and see if my friends have photos of the show. I am not holding my head high on this though...

This is the guy. As good of a picture as I could find. He also played in an opening set as a pianist/guitarist for the Halifax band In-Flight Safety.
