I am attending all 3 of Gord's BC shows plus Seattle. I have seats available if anyone would like to carpool to any of these shows, providing gas/ferry costs are split evenly. I will pick you up and drop you off wherever you are in the immediate Lower Mainland, just remember the farthest I will pickup/dropoff anyone is Surrey (sorry Valley folks - the Valley is too far for me).
This particular weekend that Gord is playing these shows is a long-weekend. Traffic around the Lower Mainland goes into a tailspin on long-weekends. As you read further on in this post, please keep that in mind when considering your pickup/dropoff times.
For Whistler, I'm leaving Friday afternoon/evening, absolute latest 5pm, and I'll be driving back after the show. We should get back into Vancouver between 2am and 3am. I have 3 seats available (no worries Sara, if need be, you have dibs on 2 of the seats). The show starts at 9pm.
For Victoria, I'm leaving the Tsawwassen ferry terminal Saturday afternoon and I'm hoping to catch the 2pm ferry, but I'll wait for the 3pm ferry if need be. 3pm is the latest I would be leaving in order to arrive in Victoria comfortably. That show starts at 7pm. I have 2 seats available. **IMPORTANT NOTE:** This show ends after 10pm, but the last ferry back to the Mainland leaves before 10pm, so after the show I'll be driving to Nanaimo to stay the night with family and coming back to the Mainland early the next day. Anyone who agrees to come to the Island must find their own accomodations in Nanaimo (sorry, but I have a big family and no extra room for anyone there).
For Seattle, because of the border wait, the latest I will leave Vancouver is 12pm Noon. I'll be driving back after the show, so we should get back to Vancouver by about 8pm or 9pm. I have 3 seats available. The show starts at 4:30pm.

**ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE**
Regarding the Seattle show, I'm stating the following for for my own safety and because it is quite self-explanitory. I will not give anyone a ride to Seattle who has troubles getting into the States, whether it be because you have a criminal record or you want to bring drugs to the show or whatever. If you come along and do not tell me about potential troubles at the border, I will drop you off right where we are and you're responsible for your own way back, no reimbursement of funds for anything. This may sound very harsh on the surface, but by not advising myself or any passengers about your potential troubles, you are putting our lives in danger and increasing the risk of having my car impounded or worse yet, being arrested by American authorites for someone we've just met. This would not be fair to me or any other passengers in my vehicle.
