Well, it was their first live show in 5 months.
And they did preview about 6 or 8 new songs for us.
And Something On sounded good - except for the fact that Gord totally forgot the lyrics.
"You imaginations having puppies"
"You got, I don't know the words. i don't know how it goes.
i don't know how it goes"
I'm totally blanking out"
"Puppies"
And then he gets the melody correct - but then totally again forgets the words but adds plenty of on the spot made-up lyrics to get through to the end and follow the melody along.
"move along, thank you"

I understand that. Something On didn't sound great, IMO, forgotten lyrics or not. Anyway, it's not a big deal. I'm just saying that it was a pretty off night for the band, that's all.
Heres my picks for the music mix
1) Three Pistols
2) Opiated
3) Put It Off
4) Wheatkings
5) Putting Down
6) Nautical disaster
7) The Dark Canuck
8) Makeshift
9) The Last Of the unplucked gems
10) Vapour Trails
11) The Bear

I put this show up because of its significance. The venue and in particular, the song selection. . . though I enjoyed Something On, I have to admit.
