yep i've been followin the rumour mill too

if anything ill check out the halifax show since it's on the weekend, but i don't think I can afford that kind of money a month before x-mas

wish BLS and/or zombie was opening, sad to say ill probably miss this one (although i seen oz w/ sabbath in 1999)

After seeing Ozzy recently perform live on TV and whatnot, I wouldn't go.
I won't dock his legend status, i mean, clearly he's the shit.
92 bucks is steep for a guy who can barely talk, let alone sing.

Also, Ozzy's been playing only 13 songs at recent shows.

I got tickets to this show on Wednesday's presale, in the 4th row no less! Section 34, Row D to be exact.

So, I was just told that Ozzy's new setlist at his Halifax shows consisted of a whopping eleven songs.

But I'm not sure what is more pitiful... that... or Rush publishing a list of venues they will be visiting in 2008, and including Harbour Station and the Metro Centre on that list... and then backing out.

Hmmm.

Maybe a poll is necessary.

Yeah that really sucked what Rush did, that press release saying that they couldn't fit Atlantic Canada into the reworked schedule was bullshit. They left a period of about 10 days with no shows, so who knows, perhaps they could still add a date or two in the Maritimes, but it's not looking good.

I was at the Ozzy concert in Moncton on Thursday, he played 13 songs in all, 11 in the main set, then both "mama i'm coming home" and "paranoid" in the encore...in all he played for about an hour & a half. I've been to a lot of concerts, but this was the loudest by a landslide. When it was quiet, i could still here ringing in my ears two days later. I was in the 4th row on the floor, directly in front of Zakk Wylde (luckily Ozzy's foam just narrowly missed us!). Ozzy put on a pretty good performance, but it was Zakk Wylde i was most impressed with, that man can play the guitar!!
I heard Sharon came out on stage with him in Halifax, we didn't get Sharon in Moncton, but following Zakk's crazy solo, Jack came out and played the drums for about a minute before Ozzy returned from backstage. All in all, i enjoyed myself, not the best show i've been to by any means, but worth the money!
