This is so sad....and I don't mean in the "I'm going to cry" sense more in the "wow, that's pathetic" sense.

This would be the Canadian hockey equivalent of losing to Japan, Ireland and Brazil to miss the Olympics.

But Turkey qualified...And damnit if you can't hear 'em in the streets, hours later...

We didn't deserve to qualify after the way we've been playing recently.

I didn't even bother watching the game last night, as I had a feeling this would happen.

What Ben said... except I kept checking the scores and hoping.

It's worse for me though, the first Croatia goal was scored by one of my hometown teams stars!
