If you're in Toronto, pick up a copy of Eye magazine. I was walking by a box and the picture caught my eye. I haven't read the article yet, but you can find it here: http://www.eyeweekly.com/ if you're interested.
They also just released 100 more tickets for each of their sold out shows at the Phoenix.
little of topic ...but does anyone know the bands taping policy.I posted a couple tix in the exchange but if i end up going i would like to tape the show if possible.thx.V
Cool article, thanks for posting. Man am I pissed that I'm going to be out of town for work next week and have to miss these shows :x .

And Vic, I can't say I know their official policy, but if it helps at all, I do remember seeing a mic setup at the back of the venue at their show at The Underground this summer. And if you do manage to tape it, I know there's more than a few of us on here that would love to have a copy
Thx Grimes.Looks like i will be going.I have 1 extra ticket if anyone is interested.Would be happy with a couple of Brews for the ticket.Specifically i would be doing Video preferably with monopod...so if anyone knows for sure please let me know.thx.V
according to the "bands that allow taping" site (http://btat.wagnerone.com/) they are ok with taping. anyone know if this has changed?

Quote:"They do not mind taping at all. People are welcome to bring in whatever to tape, film, or take pictures. BA may be dependent on the venue, as they play mostly DIY venues."
Let me check my schedule and I might be in for going with you... and I'll gladly pick up a couple of brews!

Also I'll see about their policy and maybe borrow some audio gear.

Nice!
ill have a mic stand there for thursday's show if anyone needs clamp space.
How was the show?

I'm seeing them tonight in London, Call the Office, anyone else?

What was the setlist like the last couple nights? Anyone get a good recording, would love to hear it
The show was great. I did not see daave nor his gear.

I know there is another recording, but I'll let the taper chime in on how it looks/sounds and if/when it will be available.

They took the stage around 11pm and rocked it until just about 1pm.

I'm terrible with their song names, but here's what I seem to recall - in no specific order:

Civil Twilight
Plea From A Cat
The Reasons
Reconstruction Site
Our Retired Explorer
Aside
Left & Leaving
Tournament of Hearts
Night Windows
Sun in an Empty Room
My Favourite Chords
Virtue the Cat Explains Her Departure
One Great City!
LOL, i know what you mean about the song names, I cant always get them all straiht myself, lol...

Glad to hear the show was good! And 2 hours? Sweeeeet!!!
Two hours?
Seems like fourteen hours of the Thans for Chris Smile
I'm so effing tired that it feels like 1pm again, but the played until 1am!
i went to the ticketmaster pickup place (the only 1 in scarborough at food basics) just after 8pm and it was closed. i didnt know of another one so i turned around and went home. sucks. will have to wait for wintersleep next week to try out the new gear.
