9 lbs boy, born yesterday at 9:32 am. We're sure his first name will be Valli...not sure on the 2nd name. We did a home birth this time and I have to say, that is totally the way to go. Our first birth experience was pretty awful to say the least. This was everything we were hoping for and more. If you can do it, get a midwife and have it at home...I'm completely sold on the concept now.

No, we had a doula. Would have liked a midwife but just couldn't afford it at the time.
Thanks everyone for the sentiments. We're all doing great and enjoying the nice family time together. Regarding the name, I just thought of it out of the blue and it was the only one we both really liked. We would have used it for a girl as well.

It's not covered? Widwifery is covered in Ontario. We used a midwife both times. We wanted to do a home birth the second time around but because it was twins it was a no-go.
