Hey just wondering if anyone was going to the show on sept 5th in ottawa, i whent to the last benefit gord did which was just solo and it was a great time for a great cause like this one should be..

I'm going to Edgefest, and will kill to see Gord at the Museum ( where is he going to play... in the basement, main foyer?), but my ride leaves at 9:00, and I work until 7:30. Anyone know what time he's on at?
doors open at 7pm and there are opening acts as well as slide shows some speeches maybe 8- 830

hey, no i won't be going to edgefest... does anyone know the people i should ask for if they give me a hard time at the door about video taping... i saw a thread once saying who to ask for if i get troubles going in
Same taping / photography / video policy applies for Gord as they do for the Hip. Most venues are .. a long as the artist allows it then the venue has no problem.
So you can bring in your audio / video / photography equipment.
You can bring in mike stands if you're running audio, smallish tripod/monopod if you running video or photography.
A couple restrictions they have though
(1) make sure your equipment doesn't get in the way of other people's enjoyment of the show
(2) no "professional" type equipment (I would assume this mean huge telephoto zoom lenses for cameras, etc.)
If you have problems at the door or with security simply ask for them to talk to Shelley (Gord's Tour Manager) or Phil (Gord's Sound Guy).
