I'll definitely be picking up the new Foo Fighters & Steve Earle, and will have the Pearl Jam DVD on my Christmas list!
As for this Tuesday, I was just looking at the Future Shop flyer that came in today's newspaper & seen where Collective Soul have a new cd out Tuesday, and The Cult have a new dvd...i'll be picking both of them up for sure!

I was listening to their version of Claire from the Rheos cover album, and was thinking it was due time for a new Duke record. That means the chances of seeing them at the Shoe this fall just shot up.

The new CD from Mark Knopfler will be out around September 25th as well. Not sure if anyone here would be interested, but I thought I'd put that out there anyway
I haven't heard anything from it yet but I'm sure it will be just as quality as anything else he's done.

It's billed as the soundtrack to Sean Penn's new film "Into the Wild" (based on the Jon Krakauer book.) But it also serves as Eddie Vedder's debut full-length solo album. Aside from various soundtrack contributions, he's never really stepped outside of Pearl Jam before, so this should be interesting.

Thanks for the link! That song sounds great. Can't wait to hear the rest of the disc. Apparently some of the tracks are short instrumentals (it is a film soundtrack afterall), so it's not necessarily a "full-length" album as previously reported on the PJ forums. Some fans over there seem disappointed by that, but I'm sure it'll be a cool record regardless. I'm looking forward to hearing it.
