Going to be back in Canada for the weekend of August 25 and would love to see Toronto FC. Looking for 2 or 3 tickets to the match against DC United on that day. On a very limited budget, though. If anyone knows where I could get some cheap seats at (close to) face value, please let me know. Thanks.
Toronto FC matches are usually sold out, i think all of them have been so far. Check <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.ticketmaster.ca">www.ticketmaster.ca</a><!-- w --> You can always go for scalper tickets and buy the cheapest seats possible because there is an area you can stand at with a great close view. Its right at the corner kick area. I went to 10 games for the FIFA U20 World Cup and watched every match from there. Beautiful new stadium. GOOD LUCK!
I've actually turned into the Toronto FC beat writer for my place of employment, so I'll ask the PR person if there's anything available.

apparently the extra 100 or so seats they installed for Sir Beckham will stay for the aug. 18 and 25 games. $75 each. on sale this morning (wednesday) at 9 a.m. only by calling 416.360.GOAL.

i'm not sure if it's myth or fact because i'm usually in the lot tailgating at this point but it's been said some seats are left unsold until gameday for some walk-up sales. i'm not positive on it but it's probably worth a phone call!?
