Does anybody know which of the bridge crossings in the Buffalo area are the easiest in terms of time to cross? I'm looking to go to a Jim Cuddy concert in London, but i'm frustrated by Google maps. Is it easier to take the 403 all the way up to Burlington rather than get off the 403 in Hamilton and then pick it up after getting out of downtown Hamilton?
I'd take 403 all the way.
Definitely, like skippy said, once you get on the 403 stay on it. It eventually merges with the 401 around Woodstock which is 45 min. or so outside of London. That is the way to go.
I don't even know why they would tell you to go through downtown. They're working on a new extension that will connect the 403&QEW and run south of the city. But as of right now, QEW --> 403 --> 401 will get you there the quickest.
I was just curious whether it was easier to go through Hamilton rather than drive 25 miles up the highway to get to the junction on the other side of Hamilton and I have no clue what the 401-403 is like traffic wise. Thanks again for all the input.
By the way...GREAT call on going to see Jim Cuddy in concert...he is such an amazing talent. Such incredible, soaring vocals and such an incredible song writer....he is the equivalent of a modern day John Lennon, not to be over dramatic, but you will see what I mean.

I absolutely agree. I was lucky enough to snag tickets to a Blue Rodeo concert in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the Palace of Gold tour at Shanks Hall and it was an amazing treat to listen to Jim and the band (I think Greg was not there due to his dad's death or illness) sing and swagger around in a 300 person venue.

He's great and all, but "the equivalent of a modern day John Lennon" is quite the stretch, IMO. :?
