I don't mean to plug my band on this site so much, but I feel I have the right to because I'm a huge fan of the hip....and pretty much worship them.
Anywho, my band The Deep Dark Woods will be playing 3 shows in Winnipeg this long weekend. We're playing Friday, and Saturday night at "The Times Changed, High and Lonesome Club", and then at the Canada Day street fair on Saturday (Not sure of the time). Come on out, it'l be a great time.
Check out our music at:

We have a new album coming out Aug 14th through Black Hen Records in Vancouver....the album will be distributed across Canada through Koch. Our new songs won't be up on our myspace untill next weekish, so I'll post a link then.
