Hey All,

If you get a chance check these guys out. They have opened for the hip a few times this year. They are totally worth seeing on their own as they will play for 2+ hours when they are out performing on their own!

So why don't you go that extra mile and setup a website and tracker if you are so into the Sadies and go and spread your love around there!
They might be different when they are on their own, but every time I have seen them open for the hip, it has been like watching robots! Same set list, same show. Boring!

theyre opening for the hip in the maritimes. ill check them out at one of the shows probably.

I'm not sure who this guy is, if he isn't cool or whatever...but he is right...the Sadies are the greatest live band performing today. Yes, when they are an opening act, they usually have a realitively standard setlist, but if you do get the chance, go see them on their own. They will blow you away. Not only because they are amazing musicians but because their shows are full of energy and spontanious moments.

See them in a club, not opening in an arena.

Tony, Adrian, Chris or whichever taper you are, you don't need to hide behind a false forum name (boothunter). It is totally obvious that it is one of you since your first 6 out of 7 posts attacked me and my love of The Sadies. You accuse me of being a SPAMMER and a TROLL for selectively posting in threads that The Sadies are opening for The Hip, Like Jesus said in Lebowski "laughable". As far as I understand I can spread my love of The Sadies around here if I want. Or are you going to call me and leave me a threatening message too (Tony). There are a few people on here that dig The Sadies so if you (boothunter) are not interested than don't read it.

I do share my boots just ask around here and you will find out. I do not share my Sadies boots because Dallas Good from The Sadies asked me not to so a tracker is out of the question.

I don't get it Chris, you don't like The Sadies too? Or is this another stab at me? I thought we were over our little spat since you reinstated my tracker account after one of your fabulous tracker staff decided to delete me because they didn't like me anymore. That's right folks! Be careful not to disagree with anyone on The Hip BT Tracker or Hipfans.com because they will ban you from the site for having a different opinion than theirs. It would appear as if they have done it again :roll:

It ain't me. I was just laughing because your regular spamming of threads that could possibly be related to The Sadies is a bit much for me. Start an "I Love The Sadies" forum if you're that into them. If they are as good as you claim them to be, your site will become a hotbed of discussion about The Sadies as their legions of devoted fans will surely flock there.

So first you accuse me of hiding behind another username (like I don't have more important things to do...), then you bring up an issue that you yourself acknowledge is a bygone, and was between you and another person - not me, then you make a lame "warning" to others, defaming me and the sites I maintain in the process. And to top it all off, you attempt to "burn" me with a shot at the total number of posts I have on this site.

Are you insinuating that what I post is useless or an advertisement? I had no idea your opinion was soo much more important than mine, oh well I guess I know now. How about I run all my posts past the all mighty Chris before I post them so as not to spam you all with good news about my new favourite band. Count my posts related to The Sadies and you will find a handful of posts placed in threads that are about them or shows that involve them, I still do not understand how that is spamming. Maybe you can clear this up for me Chris.

My warning was not "lame" it is the truth. For no apparent reason other than some ass on your website didn't like me anymore he decided to kick me out. Am I making this up Chris?

I started a new thread about upcoming Sadies shows which is within my rights on this forum and some ass clown (boothunter) jumps on me (again) for it. Then Chris tries to backs it up. If you don't like it don't read it.

I am going to continue to post news about The Sadies on this forum until I decide not to. Just to warn you Sadies haters out there, there will be more Sadies "spam"

You certainly place a lot of importance on my opinion as you continue to bring it up. And, as you said, members are free to post whatever they want... but every time I do so in response to something you posted, you get all bent out of shape. Do you see where I'm going? Or do I need to clarify it more?

Just in case you don't see the point, let me try this:

-You post something about The Sadies.
-Someone else posts a response.
-I respond to their post. (Just to remind you what I wrote, here it is again "Nice one! :lol:" )

Then, in what you feel is an appropriate response to "Nice one! :lol:" you post a long response attacking me, and some other fans, making accusations about things you think we've done. I don't know what happened to you that makes you think everyone is out to get you, but you need to realize that that's not the case here.

No. You're the clown. Earlier in this thread you wrote "I thought we were over our little spat since you reinstated my tracker account..." yet you keep trying to bring it up as if it is something current. I have no idea why your account was banned, nor do I know who did it. It is such a meaningless event that I'm not willing to waste time investigating who did what as we may never know the truth. You say someone did it because they don't like you. Maybe you were an ass towards one of them and they decided that someone like that wasn't welcome there anymore?

But I did bring up that old thread. As a joke between some friends, but yet you placed so much value on my opinion that you got riled up over a joke. Again.

Bauer, the real problem here ,as I see it, is your continual "Go see the Sadies, they really kick ass!!!!!" (insert sarcasm emoticon here :roll: ) promotion in the concerts section of Hipbase. There truly is no need to post the same thing over and over again about the Sadies opening up for the Hip on those dates. Unless they've lived in a cave, died or havent been following the tour, people know who is going to open for the Hip or they can simply ask. I like the Sadies, but I could do without reading a promotional for them every time I read a thread in the concerts section. Discretion is the better part of valour, ya know.

I posted Sadies tour dates so that those of us that love this band know when they are coming to their town and some chicken shit ass (boothunter) takes another stab at me? HA HA, continual promotion? I absolutely did not post over and over again about The Sadies opening for The Hip. I only posted in the threads that were applicable to them along with a tour itinery in the non-hip discussion thread. I totally disagree with you that most people know who is opening for The Hip. Most people don't know so come to places like this forum to find out. Since there were like four or more differnet openers on this tour why is it inappropriate to let people know who it is going to be at thier perticular show? You could probably use a dose of your own advice there buddy. All you really did was whine and complain that bauer posted something that you don't like. Maybe discretion is the better part of valour. I guess you just had to get you 2 bits in :roll: If you don't want to read a promotion for The Sadies in a thread about a show they are playing at then don't read it, or better yet use the option to turn my comments off and presto no more info about The Sadies from me.

For the last time, I only posted comments about The Sadies in threads about shows they are playing at, not every show thread like violetlightheron suggests. Go back and count my posts about The Sadies next time and pay close attention to which threads they are in before you make an ass of yourself again.

A dozen posts in 6 months in threads directly related to The Sadies and I am a spammer and people are tired of my constant promotion? Give your heads a shake.

It is within my rights as I understand them that I can post about The Sadies on this forum as much as I want, just like you can react to my posts if you like. I find it interesting though that no one else is getting attacked for posting things about other bands. ex. wintersleep, or the white stripes or whoever.

You just can't let it go, can you? Get over it man. Move on to something new.
