Hey fans,

Since the move to our new server, traffic to the site appears to have increased significantly... which is great... but the number of new shows being posted seems to have dwindled. Is this because the all the shows have already been shared? Or is it that people do not know how to post what they have?

What needs to be done to make thing easier?

I'm working on an FTP site/website where users who cannot access Bit Torrent, or do not know how to post shows through Bit Torrent can upload their shows and then one of the regular torrent posters will seed it.

As well, I've added about 40 more shows to <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.thehundredthmeridian.com/files">www.thehundredthmeridian.com/files</a><!-- w -->

This is a web-accessible download site. Almost all of the shows that are currently there are in MP3 format. As resources permit, I will start to add shows in lossless formats.

So... what else can we do?

I could get off my ass and mail you the 3 shows I have!

These are just my ramblings:

The way I see it is that only a couple handfulls of collectors have a mass amount of shows.
Most of the other shows that people have are already had by all.
If you have 3000 users, and only 50 collect all the shows they can - it unfortunately falls on those 50 people to get their butts moving. And 50 is a relatively small group.
I personally just surpassed 400 shows in my collection - and as soon as SRB receives my CD's from our trade - I will be releasing some Amazing sounding 2002 shows.
And even with my "experience" uploading, it takes me about 30 minutes to get a show going - some people do not have the patience or the werewithal for that amount of time.
I will try and do my part - but I do not believe there are many other people that can help with contributing.

wow Chris this is great! Thank you. Im one of those people who cant do torrents. It makes no sense, I cant download torrent software but I can save files. WTF?? :lol:
