When was the last time that the Hip played this long of a tour? It basically started in May of last year, and is going to continue until at least September. So at the very least 1 year and 4 months of pretty much continuous shows.
I believe the IBE Tour started in June, and ended in December of the same year. Pretty sure IVL was the same.

I wouldn't say it was continous starting last May... I'd more say last October.

Yeah it looks like they took the second half of June off, then didn't play between mid-July and mid-October except for a couple shows in September.
I wouldn't consider that a continuous tour, but I do agree that they have been at it on and off for a long time.

I would consider the 2006 Summer Shows part of the current tour, it seems like they’ve been playing live consistently since then with a few weeks/months off between different legs of the tour.
Instead of looking at the length of the tour based on the # of days it might make more sense to look at it based on the # of shows they have played. Including all types of live appearances (radio, festival, solo, etc…) it looks like they’ve played 89 shows in 2006 – 2007 and they have another 21 booked, a total of 110. The PP Tour went from July 98 to May 99 and they played 144 shows.
