Is anybody from here going to the Erie PA. show on the 18th?
We are going to go down mid afternoon and hang out and check the place out. We are taking our kids to the show also. (10 and 7) This will be their 3rd hip show. Their 8th concert in total. If ya want to hang out and have a few drinks before the show or find a place with something to eat let me know.

After the show were off to Gettysburg PA. for a long weekend of Cival War stuff.
I will be there. Great place to see a show. They haven't played erie since 2000, which was a great show. Can't wait!
pmbchase. how many going in your party? there is my wife, myself and our 2 kids. I read on the venue site that it only seats 2,500 so that is a bit small but thats a good thing. Have you ever seen a show at this venue before ? Will they let me bring in my camera? Also you got a heads up on a good pub close by to have a few drinks and eats.

We dont know where were staying yet or even if were staying over night at all. We might head out of town right away and head south. Unless we find the Golden Rim MotorInn.

There's 2 of us, but we're meeting up with others before hand. It's a great place to see a show. They just fixed it up too. I have been there lots of times, always sounds good.
The avalon hotel is practically across the street and it has a bar in the lobby. There are a couple good bars about 5 or 5 blocks south on state street (the same street as the theater). The plymouth, docksider and nicky's. I think they might have happy hour from 5 to 7 also. They are pretty much next to each other and close by.
Security is extremely lax at the warner. They usually don't even have patdowns. You should be able to get it in. I plan on bringing my recording equipment and don't expect any problems.

My bet is you get 6 of those, tops! The setlists have been fairly predictable lately. A few rare ones thrown in the mix throughout the set.

Alright, let's really see how many people want to party pre-show. We've booked the UPSTAIRS at Calimari's Squid Row at 1317 State St. They have good food and a nice atmosphere. Anybody who wants to toss back a few beverages beofre Friday's show, stop by. If you could post those plans here, it would get the party groove going early. 5:00 pm, now we're working on getting some pre-show Hip played there. Kim & the crew in Erie

Suzanne and I are up for a few drinks and party mood. Sure we will have our kids with us but they are cool. This will be their 3rd Hip show. Their 7th concert in total. They prefer Rootbeer and Chicken fingers and fries. Suzanne is partial to red wine and I usually go for whats on tap. We are going to get to Erie around 1 or 2 and find a hotel or motel for the night then head out to have a look around town and eat. We will go to Calamaris upstairs if they let us.
I will be there. You shouldn't have a problem bringing the kids that early. There probably won't even be anybody at the door. To get to the upstairs area, there are steps on your left next to the bar. There are a couple pool tables upstairs and a separate bar.
