my buddy was at this show, and said that the sound was crap..couldn't understand anything that gord was saying either during, or between songs..he said the band were great, just shitty accoustics...is he right?

The recording that BigA made sounds pretty good... maybe it was just where your buddy was sitting, or that his ears are shot?

Either way, it's a concert in a hockey arena...

that's what i thought, but i have been at GM place before and had shitty sound, and great sound, so it's hit and miss..

the kelowna show had great sound i thought for a hockey arena

pretty good show coming off the heels of an amazing marymoor show....i had second row center for this one....Gord Rocked.....The Sadies were great again......Thought it was a strange choice to close with fireworks however....its been a long time since I've seen the Hip....this was the last show...Two years almost!
