Not that anyone really gives a damn but I thought I would mention that I'll be walking the perverbial plank tomorrow night (Fri Apr 20) to marry my lovely fiancee Lisa.

For those who haven't gone through this, I've gotta say it's a weird feeling as I'm getting ready to hit the rack for my last night as a single man...pray for me!!!

The day almost screams by - and the best thing we did was just keep reminding ourselves all day to enjoy each and every moment - it makes the day last longer and makes it easier to remember.

Remember. It's your day and your not gonna get to talk to everyone. Don't worry about it. They are there for you.
One word of advice (well so you don't "hear it" for the next X amount of years), when you put on the ring on her finger, look into her eyes, not her finger. Yes i did this and every year on our anniversary and we watch the video she says it every time...why didn't you look at me and not my finger.... :lol: NERVES, didn't want to mess up man.

I remember my wedding, up until about midnight when the hard drinks came out.
Then I remember waking fully clothed at about 0400, then again at 0700h, where i watched the surfers out of our hotel window knowing that I was dying (remember, I am medically trained ;-))
Our first day of married life was spent with me clutching a bucket tight to my chest in bed, while the missus wrote out thank-you cards.
So as an addition to the earlier ring advice, don't mix your drinks, as I am still paying for it now (big style!!)
