I bet a lot of people were confused by the butterfly ballot and picked DWD when, of course, they meant to pick Family Band. Can't we let the US Supreme Court sort this out?

Wouldn't this pretty much guarantee that whatever song these two are pitted against is going to come right up the middle?
I think we need an electoral reform commission to study this problem and put forward solutions as a referendum question on the next match-up poll, and phrase them in a way which is guaranteed to colour the way people vote. (e.g. "Since the way we elect governments in Ontario is so screwed up, don't you think it would be better if we introduced a system of mixed member proportional representation, which we've spent a lot of time and money working on and is super-duper? C'mon, doesn't that make sense?")
If I'm the only one paying attention to electoral reform in Ontario and/or thinks this is a witty comment, please just ignore me.
On topic: I think that both DWD and Family Band are going to get creamed in the next round, because they will continue to split the vote amongst themselves.
