Both songs are good, but I just love the opening on Lonely End Of The Rink.

It was also the last song to play on my iPod on my way home tonight.

I had to go for Rink on this one. The intro is so amazing. Family Band is good too but I just can't get over the chills that LEOTR gives me.

On several occasions, I have professed my strong aversion to Rink on these pages. And Family Band easily wins my vote in this matchup.

However, we were listening to WC on the drive up to my folks' this weekend, and I began to foster a new appreciation for Rink as I listened. To what do I owe this gentle swing?

Once again, it's due to the incredible work of one Gord Sinclair.

That dude kicks ass every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Does this guy ever write bass lines that aren't wicked-cool, and perfect for every song? Said it before, and I'll say it again: Sinclair is this band's MVP.
