I am not sure about local places to stay - but show up early and have a couple beers in the parking lot. Last show there I believe was 8:00 also - and people just partied in the parking lot all day long - noon till night.
Tailgating - That's what Buffalo is all about.

there's a few campgrounds here in the Falls...a couple right on the main drag , highway 20 ( commonly known as Lundy's Lane)
....takes maybe 20 minutes to get back here from Lewiston

this campground would be the closest .... ( on the Canadian side)

I got two in the pit for Sunday.
And two in the first row for Saturday.

two 3rd row pit for sunday, and just went cheap and got grass for saturday. btw, if its like the free shows @ artpark with the beer...the 5 dollar cans arent that outrageously priced...theyre 24oz molsons...best beer, and its like getting 2 for 5 bux

Last year everyone tailgated in the parking lot before hand. Was a great time.

For anyone interested - a brand new hotel is opening up just down the street from Artpark - perfect stumbling distance.
The rooms are rather pricey - but it is very close.

nice place,2 nite min. iwent to the artpark show last year,amazing. i have found the best place to stay,5 min walk to concert,8 minutes back(stagger) if your looking for a great place to stay for the sun. show(i've got the sat)pm me. 200.00 and as many people as you want. sleeeps 6-8 easy.like i said ,stayed there last year ,awsome.

Just an FYI.
The Buffalo News today had an article about the upcoming concert season at Artpark.
And The Tragically Hip show was specifically mentioned. They stated that unlike years past - this year at Artpark there will be NO tailgating allowed in the parking lot prior to The Hip shows.
Kinda bullshit - tailgating in a New York state of mind.

Then we tailgate in the TOPS parking lot.....

hey guys, went to the lewiston show last year and had a blast. the only thing i wanted to comment on was that the show was rather short......i believe they only played for about an hour and a half, and i know they didnt have the new album out yet....so do you think they will play a longer set now that world container is out??
