The last time that I saw THE HIP , was on FEB , 8th , 2007 at the A.C.C. in Toronto. I was at the back at the top of what would have been know as the red section at Maple Leaf Gardens. It was the best sound for THE HIP, that I have ever heard.I loved the set list. :thumb:

I bought one of those EXCELLENT looking HIP , W.C. hockey sweaters [mostly black] :thumb:

Favourite sport , CFL FOOTBALL. I was at the 2004 GREY CUP in Ottawa.

THE HIP , where the half time show and the ARGOS won. :thumb:

The whole HIP , show is on the CBC's : CFL 2004 GREY CUP , double DVD. :thumb:

I will be going to the 2007 GREY CUP in Toronto , which is almost sold out already. :thumb:

The Beatles ,
The Tea Party ,
Neil Young [His new CD , LIVE AT MASSEY HALL : 1971 , is just awesome] ,

Yep, there's a few of us about on here (well, not all from London, but from around the UK. 8)) I'm glad you enjoyed your time over here. You certainly seemed to get around - Did you do everything you listed in just a week? I'm impressed.

I went to Toronto last year. You have a great city yourself - I hope to go back soon. Maybe we could organise a Hipbase member exchange program. Wink

We spent a week in London and saw most of the things around that area.

The major tourists things. The Tower , a football match , a great haunted horror house place [better than Disney] , the Circus , Abbey Road Studios , ect...

We also took some bus tours from London to other places like Windsor Castle. We then spent a week in a small village called , BOURTON-ON-THE WATER.

We also stayed 1 night in a small road side manor with a road side pub just down the road from our manor. Our room just had 1 tree and bats outside the windows of our room. COOL! Just like in some British horror movie with Peter Cushing.

From there we went to STRATFORD and saw a play , Warwick Castle , Chepstow Castle [Wales , and my faourite castle] , and finally to Canterbury. EXCELLENT stuff! Fantastic fish and chips and excellent beer.

Being from a young country , this was just mind blowing for us but you are probably use to it , so it is no big deal.

Any way , I know that you don't know me , but if you ever come to Toronto again , we can offer you and a friend[s] a free place to stay and we can be your guide. My wife and I have done this before for 5 Dutch RUSH fans who wanted to see RUSH in Toronto. I met them on a RUSH message board. They stayed at my house for a week. Just send me a PM.Thanks!

Sorry for talking to much.

take care , in the world container! :thumb:
