Just thought I would direct everyones attention to Mark's Tour Across America blog, where in yesterday's post, he mentions a conversation he has with the Hip's manager, who gives detail about upcoming dates...

We also talked with Billy Ray and he tells us that they went to a gun range. They shot some UZIs, etc. He said it was pricey but worth it.

Cool stuff. However, I don't have a clue what this "certain university town" would be. Not Charlottetown, Moncton, Saint John, Halifax. Fredericton maybe?
Definetly Fredericton. There have been petitions this year in Fredericton to get the Hip to play there. Not to mention some facebook groups!
I hope Labour Day weekend will be spent with the Hip!

I'd like for them to play PEI again, but that is probably wishful thinking after playing here just last June, but you never know. I'd be happy with Moncton or Halifax though, hopefully Moncton.

fredericton is the one known as the "university town". the rumor sof a hip show have been running through town here for a couple weeks now
