I know someone did, because he was constantly waving his camera in my face and blocking my view of the stage. His buddy was taping too. I think they both watched the entire show on a tiny little screen while they stood not 30 feet from the band. Seemed like a waste of $25 and a great night with the Hip to me.
No idea whether those guys hang out here or plan to post their videos anywhere. Based on what I saw on their tiny screens, though, you won't want them if you're prone to motion sickness....

Yeah the spot to film from would have been the balcony.
I had my cam and tri pod in the car but I just couldn't bring
my self to sit in the balcony when I was able to be on the floor
30 feet away like you said.
Man I'm kicking myself in the ass for not filming it.
I'm sure alot of people would love to have it.
Next time I take one for the team and get the footage.
I'll keep checking the tracker to see if something comes up.
That was a great show.

Mark, Steve & Dave all taped this show; but their gear, and their behavior at a show, is all pro - and their footage is always excellent. They were not the guy(s) that alan encountered.
Their recordings will be posted eventually - but as they are on the road following the band for another two weeks; and we are still working on shows from last summer - it may be a while before it gets posted.

I got a few songs, and I was going to post links here, but I am afraid I may be the guy that apparently ruined Alan's night.
It was an unreal show. I would certainly be interested in a video/audio recording, were a quality one to be made available.

Chris
I downloaded the Fort York footage and I got to tell you I was blown away how professional it is.
The quality of the footage, sound, menu and cuts are fantastic. Going to black and white from time to time was a nice touch I thought.
I was able to find myself in the crowd up front with my buds.
Thanks for making that available.
I'm really looking forward to getting the final cut of the Atlanta show.
Hey Deerok you made your way from Safety Harbor right? Post those vids - I'll laugh my ass off if Alan confirms it was you.

Was not me. Alan said in another post that the guy filming puked later that night. Whew!
I will post again here when the videos are up.
I came up from Tallahassee with my buddy from Tarpon Springs. Florida was relatively well represented in the ATL.

Well, the "emissions" I referred to in the other post were of a different variety (the kind that make it unpleasant to be standing behind somebody, if you catch my drift). A couple whiffs of that and I filtered into the first space that opened up nearby, which had the added advantage of taking care of the camera problem. I'll refrain from providing identifying details so as not to out you if that was your gassy self parked in front of me....
As for the rest, to say that the camera ruined my night is more than a bit strong. For the most part I was able to shift around and see what I needed to see. It was mostly just a minor annoyance, especially compared to what I've dealt with for much of my concert-going life, so no worries. Doesn't stop me from from bitching about it, though.
