He's quite an overrated coach. UNC won their championship with him 'coaching' because they had a great team recruited before he got there. They didn't need 'ol Roy's coaching and wouldn't let him screw it up.

Roy will continue to do at UNC what he did at Kansas - underachieve with class talent.
Just my take and being an east coast Big East guy, I think it will be a very close game. Both teams have survived (barely) for the last couple games. Ohio st matches up well with GTown but I think the Hoyas play the Big 11 style better than anyone in the 11 this year. I think Green's versatility will be the biggest factor in GTown's win. If they get a lead in the second half especially, you don't want to have to come back like the Bucks have been doing against a team like GTown they're one of the toughest in the country(Florida will see the toughest team to come back on later Sat night). I think Georgetown 61 Ohio St 56 only that much cause free throws at the end. Just my 2 pennies.
P.S. Not going to get to watch it anyways getting married on Sat and will kinda be busy doing that thing. But I'll be in Vegas on Monday to watch the finals

I agree that Green will be key in this game. He presents a sort of matchup problem for OSU, and how the Buckeyes address it will most likely determine the result. I look for OSU to have both Oden and Othello Hunter on the floor at the same time for significant intervals, which is something they don't typically do.

Unfortunately, I think the X-factor in this one will be the officiating. If both teams are bangin' equally hard in the paint, it will be most imperative that the officials remain incredibly consistent and not allow there to be a substantial disparity in fouls - both team fouls AND player fouls. If Hibbert or Oden get in early foul trouble, then the opponent will have a distinct advantage.

It'll be interesting to see how the refs call this game.....my guess is that they let 'em beat on each other.

P.S. congratulations on your wedding!
Thanks Esthete, and I think the refs will play a big role as well. If they let them bump and bang I think Georgetown will have the edge, but if they are calling everything Hibbert will definitely get into foul trouble which will open up the lane for the 45 year old man and could mean the OSU victory
Esthete, leaving for Vegas now to watch the game tonight. I'll be pulling for the Bucks for you tonight :thumb:
