Radiohead are so overhyped and overated it's ridiculous! they aren't even the best band of their generation, or the best band their country has ever produced...

they are good, they might even be great, but to say that they're the best band ever is a flat out LIE.

i didn't say they sucked, i'm just saying i think there's way too much fuss about them, and that there are many bands around currently that beat them into the ground with a stick.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion... I used to really enjoy Radiohead, but once they forgot what overdrive and feedback is, I forgot about them.

I used to love them too until they became drunk on computers and technology and lost all sense of melody. Kid A had some decent material, but they totally lost me with Amnesiac, which in my opinion was nothing more than Kid A leftovers. Thankfully they won me back a little bit with Hail to the Thief, which was not only a nice return to form, but it also proved that good old Thom hadn't forgotten how to write actual "songs". Don't get me wrong, I'm all for experimentation. But for my money, nothing will ever beat a great song with a nice melody and a killer hook, written and performed by flesh & blood human beings on actual hand-held instruments.

Just my opinion of course.

i liked The Bends and to a lesser degree OK Computer, after that i completely lost interest...they don't ever rock enough...BUT, i will give them this:

"Just" is one of the best music videos ever.

yeah, but compared to what bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Tool, Deftones, Rage Against The Machine, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, The Tea Party, (and to a degree even Nine Inch Nails), were doing, it was pussy shit.
