I spend tons of time on my computer, I own every Weezer and R.E.M album....hmm, oh man Im a nerd!! Confusedhock:

I'd rather be a nerd than a loser. A loser like a 19 year old virgin who failed grade nine and lives at home with his momma.

Yeah, I guess me too, although I fail to see how playing a difficult board game that reflects world history events makes us nerdier than a guy who fetishes a baseball team....

sports are manly and jockish, role playing games, comic books, ect are considered nerd territory for some reason, don't blame me, i didn't make this shit up, that's just how it is. besides, there is a fine line between enjoying or participating in something that's considered "nerdy", and actually being a nerd...if my over-enthusiasm for the Yankees makes me a nerd, then fine, I'm a proud New York Yankees (HABS TOO!) nerd...which is still way better than being a Red Sox/Leafs nerd Tongue.

Put me down as being an Axis and Allies/Leafs nerd. The Habs WERE a great team. I think Bob Gainey has some good things left to do with that team, though.

correction, the Habs ARE a great team, and with a little tightening up on the D, and maybe one more solid goal scorer up front (Bonk should prove to be quite the addition), the Habs could pose a serious threat in the East, especially in a division with the aging Maple Leafs, the Hasek backed Senators, the stingy Bruins, and the lowly Sabres.

Man, if you are counting on a Senators DISCARD to make a big difference for your team, then your team has serious problems!

i'm not counting on the anything from the Sens, because if they've proven anything over the years, it's that they can't deliver !

Montreal is taking over the North East when NHL play resumes.

Actually the Sabres have a great shot in the East when/if the NHL ever resumes. They are one of a few teams who actually has the majority of their players signed and the roster is pretty solid. With the addition of Ryan Miller in net they should do just fine. By the way the "lowly" sabres finished 8 points behind the "great" habs last year. It would have been 6 if not for the meaningless end of the regular season game.

You've proven time and time again that you are a nutbar with no grasp of reality. But this is by far the most outlandish statement yet. Bonk? Quite the addition?!? The same Bonk who couldn't even manage a point a game while centering Daniel Alfredsson? Yeah, he'll take the Habs to the next level. Care to make another wager?

The Sabres will definitely be in a good position when hockey returns. Unlike my Leafs who will be saddled with a 40 year old goaltender who has a bad back and didn't play last year, not to mention the "thanks for nothing" Owen Nolan eating up cap space, the arthritic hip of Alexander Mogilny, and the injuries waiting to happen in Nieuwendyk and Roberts. I fear it's gonna be a long season for Leaf Nation. Maybe another year for the lockout wouldn't be so bad afterall. :thumb:

you're just upset because Montreal is going to be putting a better team on the ice than the Toronto for the first time in a while (probably since we had Roy) come next season (whenever that is). And yes, I do think Bonk will be a good addition to the team. Up the middle we'll have Koivu, Ribeiro, Bonk, and then probably Begin (great gritty player that the SABRES let go Tongue).

Yanks came back to win tonight, and the Sox lost...know what that means? WE'RE NOW A 1/2 game ahead of the SOX, and tied with T.O. for 2nd in the division, only 4 games back of Baltimore...

know what else...

YANKEES VS. RED SOX TOMMOROW!

know what else? A seventh year of High School would probably help you spell "tomorrow" correctly. Red Sox will be just fine this weekend. It's the Blue Jays that have their number.

a spelling mistake? that's all you've got? how sad...

anyway, you better hope your Sox are more than just "fine" this weekend, otherwise they're gonna get their asses handed to them on national TV on FOX!
