I work for the local Home Depot in Wasilla and I heard the weirdest, neatest song mix over the radio at work today. Mind you, the music is chosen by some anonymous suit in the Atlanta home office so it was quite interesting to hear Brother Down, Ahead by a Century, a new Mark Knopfler/Emmylou Harris song, 5 days in May by Blue Rodeo and Rebellion by The Arcade Fire all back to back!

Isn't it sweet when that happens? Even if you have all those songs on disk somewhere you are always a little more pumped to hear them on the radio.

Thats a great run of songs. Wonder where the suit in Atlanta got such good taste?
A couple of years ago I was on a cruise, waiting for Bingo to start, and Poets comes over the audio system. Turns out practically the entire cruise directors staff were Canadian.

I worked at a Home Depot in Alberta for a couple years... the most Canadian they ever got was Bare Naked Ladies and Celine Dion.
I didn't like working there very much
