With the end of Round 2, we see Fly and Luv(sic) being eliminated.

Eliminated Round 2
Fly
Luv(sic)
Vote for the song you believe to be the weakest on World Container and after 48 hours, we will remove the two songs that have the most votes. As before, a song must have at least 10% of the vote in order to be removed otherwise it will carry forward into the following round.
The poll will end Sunday at 10:15am Eastern.
Happy voting!

Who's gonna win? I can smell a rat, when it's all rat.
Glad that WC hung on another round. Look forward to some more bashing of it.
I voted Rink. Just never really done it for me. The "Oh to join the rush" part is a little to earnest for me. And the talky part was done better on Love is a First.

Voted Rink but it was more or less random as I love all six of these songs pretty equally. The hockey references (rink/dekes/join the rush/season swells) are equal parts charming and pedantic.

Tough choice here. I love all these songs. I am a self-confessed WC-fanboy though -- I even shed a small tear when Pretend got aggressively euthanized in round 1.

I'm a bit surprised 'Rink' isn't getting more love. I have some problems with it, but I'd have expected that to be an obvious finalist or near-finalist. Explain.
Certainly I find it surprising that it's losing to the forgettable 'Yer Not the Ocean,' a song with an unusually weak lyrical conceit IMHO, and which expires once Rock's trite keyboards come in. An inoffensive but basically bland cut, I feel. 'Rink' is not bland and is about something real.

What's with all the votes for Rink? You people have lost your freakin' minds.
And 8 votes for Kids already? Blasphemy!

I agree with this.
