The Right Whale
#1

A while back I ripped the audio tracks from The Right Whale. It's actually quite interesting to listen to on its own, without the visuals. I just found I CD I burned it to (I thought it was lost forever), and was wondering about the legality of uploading it to the FTP or the tracker. I mean, the IVL bonus tracks were up there and so was Antares, but this was officially released, though not in audio form. Can any of you more experienced bootleggers help me out?

i am guessing that it wouldn't be okay, as it is officially released...but since it's not available in audio form...hmm.....tough one....since it's not really songs per se, the band might not care....but I'll guess that the powers that be will say no go.....

If you were allowed, i'd say that would be very cool.

As the Tracker Moderator, I'd have to say no. Only non-commerically available material is allowed. As for the FTP, I would venture to say the same.

The final word would have to come from Chris since he owns both the Tracker and FTP server/domain.
