Does anyone need a single ticket for the Kingston Arkells show? It is at a tiny pub on Queen's campus. Should be a great night. I, unfortunately, couldn't get two tickets, bought one and now can't find another so that I can take my wife. Just trying to sell of the single.
$11 is the asking price (it's what I paid for the ticket, when you include the $1 surcharge the campus ticket seller tacked on).

Woohoo! Got myself on the guest list for the Calgary show. It pays to have connections.

Fantastic band. Just grabbed their iTunes Exclusive (Live Session) EP, and their live sound is incredible, in comparison to their album. Pullin' Punches is beautiful, I am just pissed I didn't check this band out a couple weeks ago to see them in Halifax. I am sure, well hope, they'll return soonish.

Clark Hall is back open. I believe that Ritual is back on.
And I agree, the Grad Club is the best venue in Kingston. I just snapped up a couple of tickets for the upcoming Rural Alberta Advantage show in November.

Looks like the Arkells have taken up residence at the Bathouse to record the follow up to Jackson Square...

That's cool. I know it's cheesy but they really do remind me of young Tragically Hip. It's not that their sound is Hipish, it's more about their energy.
They should open for the boys this summer.

Arkells have posted two new tracks from their forthcoming record to be released in the fall on their website.
One of the tracks makes a nice little reference to our boys. Good stuff.
