Simpsons movie
#1

Saw it this afternoon and I laughed my ass off. The show hasn't been that good over the last few seasons, but I'd say the movie makes up for it. The first 30 minutes is worth the price of admission alone.

Thumbs up!

Just got back from it.
There are so many random and innapropriate moments, that I'm sure I missed some while laughing at others! Definitely awesome, and I recommend it.

I'd agree with that - Some of the best Homer lines ever. I really enjoyed it.

I love Spider-Pig.

Absolutly agree! Saw it on Saturday and its the funniest movie I've seen in a very long time.

I read somewhere that the show has sucked for the past few seasons because they pulled most of their main writters off the show to write the movie. Leaving only B-class writers for the show.

If thats true, the show should finally get funny again!

I saw it twice this weekend, since it was so good and I am a huge Simpsons fan. It was great and well worth the price of admission.

I just heard from a guy at work that because i left mid way through the closing credits that I missed a good scene at the very very end. So for those who havent seen it, stay til the end of the closing credits.

If he's talking about the Tom Hanks bit, it was allright.
I didn't stay after that...I was being pushed into the aisle.

I feel the same way we went to see it Thurs at 11:59 and it was an event. People cheering at the beginning and end, belly laughs through the entire theater the whole movie. Definitely recommend to even the casual fan :thumb:
