Kinda pricy but hey it may be worth more in a few yearz........

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Ach! I hate seeing signed stuff up for profiteering. Especially Gord's stuff.

I have a signed BOTN that I got the same night Drren got his CMG signed, but I was afraid of bringing my book to the concert because I had nowhere to put it and I was worried it would get damaged. Now I really regret it. The again...given the illegible scrawl ALL OVER my BOTN cover...maybe I'm glad I didn't. I sure would like to ask him what he wrote.

Gord signed my CMG when he played Atlanta- He signed it "Mike's Orange Book"

But I do agree that profit should not be made on things like that.

Personally I think an autograph has little meaning unless I was there in person to get an item signed by Gord/The Hip or any celeb. It would have great memories attached to it whereas if it was purchased it would be little more than an item with someone's signature. Selling it for profit doesn't seem right to me either.

Neil: I think I got Gord right after he smoked a doob and the effects hadn't set in yet, hehe. I can read his note and signature quite clear on my CMG book, while Pam got a couple of autographs done for friends and they are nothing more than scribbles but she had a good chat with him.

Autographed memorabilia should be like concert bootlegs - you keep it til you don't want it, then you find another collector and give it to them at-cost (the price of the book, or blank CD's for bootlegs) etc.

eBay's good for a lot of things, but it's so easy to abuse it.

Oh, and I do remember he signed your CMG book before my BOTN...I guess he was a little more stoned by then! Heck, my best friend couldn't even tell the first word was "Neil"!
