Lake Fever has heart, but Football in the Groin has a football in the groin.

And I can't argue with that.

Love Lake Fever...can you tell :music

want to be a nobody without peer
want to be a thought that's never done
want to shake your faith in human nature
want to break the hearts of everyone
want to be your wheezing screen door
want to be your stars of Algonquin
want to be your roaring floorboard
want to break the hearts of everyone

Wasn't even close for me. Had to go with Lake Fever. Boots and Hearts, imo, is a very overrated song.

I would have to say that I am surprised by the current lead Lake Fever has. IMO it really shouldn't be close...there's something about Boots that brings me back!!

hmmm...I for one love M@W. I remember waiting in line at 11pm on Rideau st. in Ottawa for the midnight release. There were about 15-20 of us, and they let us buy it at 11.30. I played it all night, and it stayed in my car player the entire summer and listening to it still brings me back to that summer. That being said, I never got the sense this album was underappreciated, coupled moreover with one of the best tours the Hip have ever given us.

however, LF has NEVER done it for me. It is in my opinion the weakest track on the album and I periodically skip it. Funny, because the first time I heard it live (before M@W was released), I thought it was going to be a great track...

oh, and the latter half of the album is definately one of my favorite Hip album song lineups...

Yeah it was a bit of an exaggeration, but judging by this thread, it's one of the least popular hip albums among hipbasers

Taking a quick tally, 10 out of the first 12 responses to this thread ranked M@W in the bottom half of their favorite hip albums.
