Although it is great to be able to watch these videos on YouTube, I have to wonder how long the record labels will let it go before they step in and really put the clamps on YouTube for copyright violation. (I am aware that there have been some legal "discussions" between various labels and YouTube, but the real battle hasn't begun.)

That is true, and I think it is also why no one has bought YouTube yet.
People are uploading almost as fast as people are viewing, so it is hard for them to keep up on violations. Just wait till you have the YouTube channel on iTV.

I agree Chris, this will be interesting as it unfolds...
Who owns the official videos? Especially the older ones which are often uploaded from DVDs or Much Music recordings - yet the newest video “In View” went straight to YouTube...

OK... so the speculation is that YouTube is worth $1.5Billion+

There are enough talented, creative people on this board that we've got to be able to start something worth at least a fraction of that!

And the tracker is for sale. I'll take as little as $200,000. :lol:
