I really think they should release a collection of ALL their videos.

Then another DVD with great live moments.

Both these DVD's could also include interviews and candid stuff like on Heksenketel.

How about one live DVD, and one with videos? We've waited long enough to get two at once. They're one of the few bands I can think of that hasn't released a DVD.

I'd much rather see a collection of stuff from a tour, sort of a "best of," rather than a single show or a collection of videos.

But if they do put together a video's compilation, it'd be cool if they included some rarities, B-sides and live versions of unreleased songs.

And I think I'd buy a dozen if they put together a DVD of greatest Hip performances of all time, including stuff from video recorded shows over the past twenty years.

Can you imagine digitally remastered versions of Blow at High Dough from Montreal in '92, Courage from Canada Day in B.C., 80,000 screaming along to Grace Too in Winnipeg, Giftshop "Burroughs" performance from Woodstock, Silver Jet from Skydome, Gord's goodbye to Molson Park... Good Gawd... that would be great.

Couldn't agree more! Being in the UK, the only video I've ever seen is the "Vaccination Scar" download from their website!

you gotta think that with the popularity of bands coming out with dvd's that the hip have got that in there plans. especially when trying to explain them to people one of the most popular thing said is "you gotta see them live to really get it." i'd like a full show and then clips thru the years on another. the videos would be cool too but you cant have it all. can you??

I've often felt that was one of their biggest missteps during the 96-00 period. A world-wide video showing Gord in all his glory on stage could have done wonders for them in international markets where they aren't considered "the greatest band in the land," comme ici.

What about something like "How the West Was Won" from Led Zepplin? Two "best-of" live albums and a DVD all in one package sounds pretty good to me!
