I've only seen the movies (the new one was awesome!) One of these days I'll have to pick up the entire collection and read 'em all.

My partner (my baby's Mama) and my kid. Most of the people I know are reading it at this moment. It's kind of creepy.
I prefer "Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell" by Susanna Clarke.

I read it...nice ending to a great series, but I'm not ruining it for anyone...
All I can say is that it moves a lot faster than the other 6 books...like she was trying to cram it all in as few pages possible so they could make a better movie out of it...

I've had a good time giving fake spoilers about the like 4 people I know in the series to the people I know that are reading it. I go too far though so they know they are fake as I'm telling them, I'm not that cruel

Well...I started this thread with such excitement....and I'm 2/3rds through the book and I am teetering between wanting to end the story because it has forcefully dragged me to this point and savoring the last 3rd of a great series of a terrific story. On the brink...daredevil-like...hoping the end is worth all the hype. I've avoided the spoilers...the fan talk...the press...even this thread, not wanting to spoil it.
Will report back soon....either way, I am a sucker for endings...I loved the way the sopranos wrapped it up...leave it up to the audience...I can feel it is about to happen with this book, but I hope it doesn;t. I want answers. dammit. got to go read...
