no track listing yet? the hip should be involved in this but i guess their too busy with touring for WC. they should just cut a live cover of powderfinger from one the shows.

It'd be nice if Gord at least got in on it, with or without The Hip. From hearing how well Gord covered "Barstool Blues", I'd say he is one of the better singers for doing Neil songs. I shudder to think what song Raine Maida will sing.

My guess is Raine will do the obvious rock star version of Rockin in the Free World and try to prove that he's the Canadian version of Eddie Vedder and end up making himself look foolish. :?

I heard OLP do a version of "Needle and the Damage Done" before. Maybe he'll do that. I assume he'll be doing an acoustic number since it doesn't say that OLP is contributing, just Maida. Either way, I don't think I'll be fond of it. Big Grin

You're a big Radiohead fan. I'm wondering if you heard them cover "After the Gold Rush"? It was a pretty good cover IMO.

Geez, I got the songs mixed up. I heard the cover a while ago and I just looked through my computer and found that it isn't "ATGR" that they covered at all. It was "Cinammon Girl". I didn't know I still had the song on my hard drive. Still, it is a pretty good cover.

Thom Yorke did After the Goldrush solo at one of the bridge benefit shows on the piano. It's out there somewhere and it's awesome.
