11th Fret Video
#16
I was going to pose this question about the video, but I see it has already been done. There hasn't been much said in a while, and since the new Hip album is approaching, I figure we may never see this.

A good friend of mine was an extra in this video(he works in a sketch troop at the Rivoli), and told me a little bit about it. He said everyone in the video were to have their faces blurred. The focus was on a girl. Not sure who the girl was, but my friend was lucky enough to be the guy to catch her as she fell off the stage(planned fall).

Anyways, anyone with information as to the whereabouts of this video should contact the HipBase immediately.

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for the video too.
the video was shot at the rivoli, apparently my friend justin lintern is in it. He actually makes out with the girl who is the main focus in the video because he got injured by shattering glass while he was an extra on the set.
If anyone has heard or seen a copy of this video anywhere, I would love to see it.
thanks.

11th fret Video, as Gord told me himself, will be made available "Someday". It was on his website but he took it off. I was at the shoot 3 years ago at the rivoli. What an amazing time. Shot the vid and then the 25 extras and crew got a 7 song set from GD and the Country of Miracles. One of the best days of my life. Big Grin

- Oh, and I found this in a shoebox under my bed. It's the long lost, '11th Fret' video that Mike Clattenburg wrote and directed back in 2003? We shot it in one afternoon and evening at The Rivoli in Toronto.

Here's Mike remembering it;

"I just remember a massive goodwill as we made that, we made it on the back of Pascals too, for like 4K. The idea of the video phone seems even more relevant, I also remember you recorded live adats as we shot that you were thinking of intercutting live performance audio with the studio track which is still a sassy idea oh and the love story was inspired by that scene in cocksucker blues where keith falls asleep. We shot it the exact same way."
"We're forced to bed, but we're free to dream"
